School Rules & Regulations

Guiding our students towards discipline and excellence

Regularity and Punctuality

Students are required to be punctual to school. School gates will be closed at 7:30 a.m. in summers and 8:00 a.m. in winters or as per the summer/winter notifications. No child will be granted entry after the closure of the school gates. Students must be regular to school. Irregularity will not be condoned.

Whenever a student is absent he/she may sit in class only after submitting a leave application duly signed by the parents. Absence for more than a week without information will result in the deletion of the student's name from the school rolls. In such a case, the student will be permitted to attend school only after paying readmission charges.

Uniform

All students should come to school in neat, clean, and prescribed uniform. Students wearing untidy and improper uniform will be checked and penalised. Hair must be well groomed and cut to give a neat appearance.

Proper footwear in both summer and winter is black shoes. No shoes of any other colour or kind nor slippers or other form of shoes are permissible. Canvas shoes are to be worn on Wednesdays and Saturdays or for games/PT only.

Girls are not permitted to wear bangles, fancy clips and jewellery items to school. They should not apply nail-polish or mehndi. Only white hair bands and rubber bands are to be used.

Leave Rules

No leave will be granted during test/examination days. Children who miss tests/exams will be awarded zero in the missed test/examination. In case of genuine illness, medical leave will be granted only when the child has been shown to the Principal/Vice Principal/Head Mistress along with authentic medical certificates.

No 'half days' will be granted. Parents must not send the child to school at all if they know that the child will not be able to attend the full school due to any reason.

It is compulsory for students to complete 75% attendance in the session to make them eligible for final assessments.

Conveyance

The school transport facility will be available depending on the number of students from any particular area. In case the school transport is not available, the parents will have to make their own arrangements.

Students should refrain from taking any part of their body out of the windows for their own safety. Any student found guilty of damaging the bus or indulging in rowdy or undisciplined behavior in the bus will not be permitted to continue the school bus service.

Fee

School Fee must be deposited as per the schedule printed in the fee bill book. In case of withdrawal, parents are requested to give one calendar month's notice. Transfer Certificate will not be issued until all dues of the school are settled.

Library

The library has an 'open access' system i.e., children can directly go to the shelves and take books of their choice. Borrowed books which are marked, disfigured, damaged or lost will have to be replaced or paid for by the borrower. A fine of Re. 1/- per day will be levied for late submission of the borrowed book.

House System

The House System provides an excellent platform for holistic development of the students. It imbibes team spirit in students to promote healthy competition.

Parent Teacher Meeting

To review the progress made by the children, Parent Teacher Meetings are held as per the schedule. These meetings forge a link between pupil's school and home life and help both parents and teachers in understanding a child's problems and in critically appreciating his performance in school.

General Rules

  • Any change in the residential address or telephone number must be intimated to the school immediately.
  • Use of cell phone by students is strictly banned.
  • Attendance on Independence Day (15th August) and Republic Day (26th January) is mandatory.
  • Taking private coaching/tuition from any school teacher is strictly prohibited.
  • The school diary is an important medium of communication between parents and the school.
